Anna Grigolon / University of Twente

I'm an Assistant Professor at the University of Twente (The Netherlands), Faculty of Geo-Information Sciences and Earth Observation, Department of Urban and Regional Planning and Geo-Information Management.
My research and teaching focus on the use of discrete choice modelling, social psychology theories, and spatial analysis to understand travel behaviour in urban areas, particularly the interaction between people, land use, and transportation systems.
I have a PhD title from the Eindhoven University of Technology, Design of Decision Support Systems, in the Netherlands. The research project concerned understanding the effect of lifecycle stages on the recreation choices of the Dutch. It was part of the program for "Sustainable Accessibility of the Randstad" or in Dutch "Duurzame Bereikbaarheid van de Randstad", funded by the Netherlands Organization for Scientific Research (NWO). I have a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and a Master's Degree in Transportation Operation and Planning from the University of São Paulo, Brazil.
